![]() I started frequently ordering take out from this restaurant when I started working downtown. Unfortunately for the journeyman, there’s more to hospitality than pretty decor. The lobby, rooftop restaurant and most facilities are nice. This could be a really great hotel with better management. They had evidently been left behind by a previous guest. ![]() Lastly, as we were leaving our room and packing up, we came across a pair of socks not belonging to us. ![]() We could hear every little sound through the thin door, and we got about 3 hrs of sleep by the time they finally quieted down. When the hotel is clearly not full, I cannot understand the logic behind putting another guest in the room adjoining a bridal party. Furthermore, we were given a room that had an adjoining room full of bridesmaids partying loudly until 4 am. This was a huge inconvenience when I just wanted a flat iron in the morning and called down to the front desk pre-shower. The rooms don’t include a coffee maker, and while they advertise having Dry Bar brand hair styling implements (flat iron, curling iron and blow dryer), they require you to come down to the lobby to sign one out, and there is a $250 deposit. Management still leaves something to be desired, though. Their rooms are nice, and the soak tubs in the king spa rooms are awesome. The Journeyman is a trendy hotel in a great location.
